Sign this L'Oreal Petition to STOP them from adding Cancer Causing Chemicals in their Cosmetics!

After reading this article from Nouveau Cheap, it encouraged me to look up the EOS lawsuit on google. Several searches later, the article led me to some websites and a few videos on youtube that help you figure out what's in your makeup products so you can make wiser choices on what has lower rates of toxins. These toxins can transfer into your blood stream, organs or even breast milk, it can transfer to your unborn child, cause cancer, allergic reactions and more.

I am sharing the link below for a brand that I love so much with their huge range of color. If we're going to be shelling out for these pricey drugstore makeup products, they should be willing to get this crucial part right. This includes shampoos, lipsticks, foundation, lotions and more.

Petition L'Oreal to remove cancer causing chemicals  from makeup

There’s nothing glamorous about finding cancer-causing chemicals in our favorite mascara, eye liner or powder. Tell L’Oreal: we demand cosmetics without cancer! The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics’ investigation of L’Oreal products revealed a shocking use of carcinogens in its eye makeup. But that’s not the half of it! We also found cancer-causing chemicals in anti-aging creams, nail polish and hair products made by L’Oreal’s most iconic brands Maybelline and Garnier.
Kids’ products aren’t free of cancer-causing chemicals either. The Campaign found DMDM hydantoin in L’Oreal Kids 2-in-1 shampoos, a chemical that releases the carcinogen formaldehyde to preserve the product.
Targets: Jean Paul Agon & Frédéric Rozé

I hope to share this to make women more aware of what they're putting on their skin, and to be more selective with their cosmetics and beauty choices. Note, being expensive does not mean it is toxin free. This is to spread awareness, not fear. I love makeup and I'm an artist as well, so I'm not going to stop using makeup, but just become more conscience.

Websites to look up products when you're in the store.

Check out Kristen Marie's Youtube channel. She breaks down the brand by what's toxin and safe within each cosmetic brand.
